Often you will here a teacher during meditation say… “Be still” or “Rest into Being” – this is not a task or an action… it is evoking a recognition of stillness that is there… with no required destination – we rest and allow stillness to envelop…
For this 30 minute guided meditation we will be bringing recognising how attention can rest not just with the breath… or the body… or sound…
We are allowing that movement to be the guide for us to rest openly… and watch how life begins to happen spontaneously.
The practice will be incredibly relaxing and often can create a real sense of connection and joy…
Dan is the Founder of Awareful and now runs the business out of the Gold Coast in Australia.
You have probably seen him on one of the big group meditations down at St Ouens or Gorey.
Dan is an internationally accredited and experienced Mindfulness/Meditation teacher, Psychotherapist, Emotional Intelligence Lead and Tibetan Buddhist of Kagyu and Nyingma lineage with locations and courses in the UK, Europe and Australia.
He doesn’t pretend to have discovered any new way or new style. He is proud to say that everything he has learned and discusses have come at the hard work of many many others over thousands of years.
He teaches, coaches and mentors to share his journey out of failure, chronic depression, acute anxiety disorder and the fear created by the stigma that is still the baggage of many poor mental health sufferers…
