The present goes beyond words and actions. It is you, the self, the ‘I’, the awareness. Resting & Rising

Resting & Rising – 3 weeks – Abiding in Presence.

3 Part Series Resting & Rising
 
We will start each week with a 45 minute meditation focused purely on the practise of open awareness or resting and rising.
 
The present goes beyond words and actions. It is you, the self, the ‘I’, the awareness. Resting & Rising
 
“Anxiety is caused by to much future and not enough presence”
 
This 3 week course we will be relfecting, exploring and sitting with our thoughts and the forever changing state of emotions and movement within the body. Resting & Rising
 
Over the 3 weeks, we will be coming together to be still, through engaging this moment.
 
Some of the concepts that we will be discussing may seem confusing and difficult to comprehend for those just starting their practise. So this course is recommended for those in regular practise.
 
Mindfulness Meditations (formal & informal)
 
We will be sitting in silence each class, followed by some enquiry into the nature of our minds and our relationship with them. Resting & Rising
 
Experience
 
Aimed at those regularly practising, looking at shallowing their understanding of presence and stillness.
